Kingscote Barn Wedding Photography

Weddings at Kingscote Barn are simply beautiful, and that makes the photography a dream. It’s one of those wedding venues in the cotswolds that really stands out as a place to consider when you are planning your wedding. I’ve photographed here many times over the years; it always delivers, and I love it. The location is perfect with the rolling hills, and the view is just what you want to see. All the people who work at Kingscote Barn are such a wonderful group they will do everything to make sure your day is perfect, and all that you want it to be.

Georgina and Luke both met me at one of the friends weddings a few years ago, and approached me on the day to find out more. As it happens, they live just a short walk around the corner from me so it was easy to meet up with them and discuss what they wanted and their plans for the day. When they told me it was here, I was so excited to be part of the day and could not wait.

August 2021 was such a hot month, but luckily on the day we had some small cloud coverage to just take the edge off. I arrived bright and early to make sure I had some time to fly the wedding photography drone in the sky and get some beautiful shots of the venue. Georgina was already getting ready in the bridal suite with her bridesmaids and mum, and the champagne was flowing nicely ones her friends arrived, Luke was getting ready in one of the Tallet House Rooms.

Once the day started, the staff made sure everything ran smoothly. There was plenty of time for mingling, relaxing, drinking and getting the formal shots that Georgina and Luke wanted from the day. I took the bridal party off for a quick photo session on the other side of the valley so we could get some of the beautiful shots with a stunning view. Luckily, we had time to pop back later in the day with just the bride and groom to get those beautiful sunset shots in the golden hour, they work so well at Kingscote and the sunset was timed perfectly.

Towards the end of the food, much to the surprise of Luke, we were all treated to the Bravo Singing Waiters for a performance that really got the party going. They have amazing voices, and really know how to perform. The whole day was just perfect, Georginas dress was simply stunning and I did not want the wedding to end.
