Leez Priory wedding photography

To say that this was a beautiful wedding would be a big understatement.

Leez Priory is one of those places that when you arrive you just think – “I want my wedding here”. It’s stunning.

Paige originally booked me in 2014, but due to a date change the wedding was set for 2017, and I still cannot believe how quickly the wedding arrived. It was my first time at Leez Priory and although I had researched the venue extensively online, nothing really prepared me for how beautiful the location is.

Driving through country lanes the main building is, for the most part of the journey, hidden from view. It is only when you drive into the grounds that you really get to take it in. It’s just amazing.

With bridal preparations in full swing I was snapping away within minutes – and laughing too. Paige and her bridesmaids really had me laughing throughout the morning, and it was easy to capture some wonderful moments. Before we knew it, Sam was on site and I headed off to get some shots of the groomsmen getting ready, guests arriving and some lovely natural shots.

One of the wonderful elements to Leez Priory is the tower where you have the wedding ceremony, right in the top room. It really adds an element of wonder to the whole day, and makes it all the more special. Once back outside, there was plenty of time for everyone to mingle and enjoy the day. I had discussed with Paige and Sam before the day a very short list of group shots to take, and then it was down to relaxing and enjoying the day.

I could not resist the opportunity to take the couple off around the grounds for some beautiful shots. I was spoilt for choice on where to go… Do we use the tower, the main building, the lake, the gardens, just too many to choose from. I could have spent the whole day taking pictures of the two of them around the grounds.

Without doubt, a wonderful, beautiful wedding. A stunning bride. A groom that did crack during the ceremony (I have photographic evidence – it would have been hard not too). Awesome family, friends and guests that made me feel so welcome on the day.
